Do you have to get carpets cleaned at end of tenancy?
Landlords do not have to clean their carpets at the end of tenancy but it is best to leave a good impression to your tenants so they know what standard to leave them in. Clean carpets and upholstery also reflects on the quality of a property, which affects how much rent you can charge per week/month.
Is professional cleaning required at end of tenancy?
Professional cleaning is always recommended as it guarantees a quality result/service. We understand how to remove bad stains or odours, safely and correctly, plus it is overall cheaper, quicker and easier than doing it yourself as our service costs include the use of specialised equipment and cleaning solutions.
Do tenants have to pay for carpet cleaning UK?
This is up to the landlord.
If the carpets are left in a poor state, landlords can pay for our services using the tenants deposit (which often can be marked-up), or the tenant can give us a call to save themselves losing part of their deposit – This also reflects favourably upon the tenant when moving out or looking for a reference from their landlord for a new property.
What is included in an end of tenancy cleaning?
We will check and qualify any carpets/rugs or upholstery that’s needs to be cleaned, sometimes it may be just one carpet that requires cleaning or a single chair (not a full suite) this then saves the tenant or landlord money.

Can a landlord charge you for cleaning after you move out?
Landlord can charge a tenant after they have moved out for any damage or additional cleaning that is required to the property to bring it back to the standard the property was at when it was first rented-out.
The charge would be paid using the tenant’s deposit that theyn poriginally provided at the beginning of their tenancy. We recommend that a tenant contacts us first as it will always workout cheaper for them and it will give them confidence when it comes to getting their deposit back without any problems.
I'm a Landlord, can you pick-up keys from agents or other locations?
Landlords sometime ask for us to pick-up keys up from agents that manage their rentals – This is is something we’re happy to accommodate.
We can meet an agent at the property and arrange this with them, to help take out the stress for the landlord. We can also pick-up keys from a secondary location, depending on where we have to travel to collect and drop-off the keys, there may be a small charge added, which is agreed before any work begins.
We also have landlords who live or work in a different country or abroad. You can just call us and we can do the rest.
What payment options to you offer?
Landlords or tenants can pay via BACs (internet banking) or cash.
